This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
You asked what I use to paint. Oils, most of the time. I like pastel best of all but it is hard to get a gallery to sell pastels. They say, "oil on canvas is king."
Actually, I work in all media because my teacher of 14 years insists that using each of the media helps in the use of all the others.
I find watercolor very difficult and use it infrequently.
I am no good at acrylics at all...because it is hard. I do not mean hard to use, but hard surfaced and hard edged.
ahh i've never tried oils.. I use acrylics with a gel retarder, but most of the time i add too much gel, and i end up with a liquidy mess *cry* live and learn!!
Sorry I have been away from the site and missed your comment.
I certainly cannot tell you anything about acrylics becuase I am an utter failure with them. I am not even willing to try. I stick to oils and pastels.

Oils really work best.

Tell me how to see some of your work.
I would put you a friends list as well if I knew how. I am new to this site and hardly know my way around at all. Maybe you can teach me.
